Happy July everyone!! Today is July the 1st and I just want to share with you some goodies that are instore for this wonderful month! July is one of my three favourite months, the other 2 being October and April and January runs close to my fourth favourite month... Kinda odd that I love all months that start when the quarters start!
Well in North America there are various holidays in store! Canada Day and Independence Day here in America are this week so many people are taking to their holiday destination! Don't forget to watch Live Earth on 7.7.07. This concert is very vital to the future of our planet! It is sad that the Bush Administration think that Global Warming is a Hoax and in many years their great grand children will wonder why they did nothing to help save Mother Earth!!!
July is the 7th month on the Gregorian Calendar and was named after none other than Julius Caesar. I thought you may enjoy some trivia from July so here it is:
1) July begins on the same day of the week as April every year and also January in leap years.
2) July's flower is the water lily or larkspur.
3) July's birthstone is the ruby.
4) July in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent to January in the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa.
5) July is the most common birth month, along with October.
